Great news for all fans of Crash and the Sinclair Spectrum. After the huge success of the Crash Annual 2018, Chris Wilkins has just announced that he has the green light to start production of his next annual.
Crash Annual 2019 will be the 100th issue of the now legendary magazine and as it is a huge milestone expect all the stops to be pulled out for this one. There is more great news, Oliver Frey is again on cover duty so expect another masterpiece. This annual will build on the success of Crash 2018 – the same retro format; the same great content and reviews and what with the Next arriving this year also, expect lots of new content for this system as well as the original 48K and 128K machines.
Speaking to Retro-Now exclusively, Chris told us “Roger, Oli and I have been overwhelmed with the outpouring of retro love that has been given to the Crash Annual 2018 and we would love to do it all over again this and make Christmas special, once again for the Crash fan. Oli will once again produce brand new art for the cover – and yes we will be keeping it a surprise for the reader'”
Expect the Kickstarter campaign to start later in the year. Personally, we cannot wait to see what Chris, Roger, Oli and the team will produce this time.
