With 8 days to go, we are approaching the £45K mark, so thank you very much for your support.
I have added a £47,500 perk – a good quality Amiga pen for everyone if we hit that stretch goal.
If we hit the £52K mark, I will add another 16 pages to the games section of the book.
I’ve also added a perk for the ‘8-Bit Kids’ book – I have 10 copies this signed.
There are some more names to add to the list of those contributing – Glenn Corpes who worked on Populous/Magic Carpet at Bullfrog, a number of those who were in the demo group, Scoopex and David Pleasance who headed up Commodore UK.
Some other projects I am excited about on Kickstarter and supporting are:
1) Easy to Learn, Hard to Master – The Fate of Atari – a documentary from 8-bit Generation (who have recently launched their film on the C64) on Atari – check out their KS here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1744798558/easy-to-learn-hard-to-master-the-fate-of-atari
2) The Atari ST and the Creative People vol. 1 – More Atari, this time a book on the computer’s demo scene – https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/901494542/the-atari-st-and-the-creative-people
3) My good friends at Hewson have got a KS up and running to create a game that looks very much like Uridium that appeared on the 8-bit systems – their KS is here : https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/robhwson/hyper-sentinel
